One of the most complete diving areas in the Southern Red Sea: St John’s

St. John’s is a group of islands in the area of Foul Bay located in southern Egypt, close to the border with Sudan. They are part of the Elba National Park, cover an area of 290 km² and offer one of the largest varieties of diving in the Red Sea. Its depths of up to 200 meters calls a lot of reef sharks such as grey sharks, oceanic white tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, white tip sharks and thresher sharks. Other common pelagic species in the area are the common and bottlenose dolphins, always in big groups, large-sized turtles, manta rays, jacks, tuna or barracudas.

The 31 reefs that form St. John’s offer a diving of great quality, with very interesting dives and suitable for all types of advanced divers. Ideal for those who already know the Northern areas and want an option with «big fish».
